* Must be a full-time student to live in housing. Other housing options are available. Apartment rent includes basic furnishings, electricity, water, central air/heat, garbage collection, internet access and basic cable. Amounts subject to change based on final approval from the UT System Office.
+ Meal Plan at UTPB — A meal plan is required for all new freshmen living in campus housing. Plans range from $766 to $3,770/academic year. Plan A is based on 19 meals per week. (fall and spring semesters). New Mexico residents in adjacent counties pay the same in-state rate. All other U.S. residents (domestic / out of state) should add just an additional $1,650/year, and international students/non-residents should add an additiona $12,450 to the estimated direct cost. The Permian Basin is a large, booming oil- and natural gas-producing area in West Texas, an easy drive from several major cities.
UTPB is headquartered in Odessa with a satellite campus (with engineering and performing arts spaces) in nearby Midland (with shuttle service there and back).
